Something like an introduction

I have an intense obsession with makeup.

I also have ADD which means I have an intense obsession with pretty much everything... until I just don't anymore. So far, I have harbored dreams of being a ballerina (I can't dance), a singer (I definitely can't sing), and many other glamorous professions from a lawyer to a personal trainer (to the stars, obviously).

Makeup, writing and acting are the only three things that have stuck. Probably because those three, I am actually good at.

The makeup obsession started when I was four. My older sister and I discovered my mother's makeup palette, which looked something like this:
 

After hours spent in makeup heaven, my poor mother came home to a very happy four year old made-up to look like a tiger (my sister had great artistic talent even then), a sheepish nine year old who knew she was in trouble but had simply not been able to resist the temptation, and an extremely messy bathroom.

I was in love.

21 years later, I still create a mess everywhere I go and my makeup collection has expanded significantly from that original palette - which mom ended up surrendering to our grubby little selves, talk about reinforcing bad behavior.

Firmly decided to share my passion for all things cosmetic with the rest of the world, I spent weeks filming dozens of reviews of my favorite products, creating a Facebook page, setting up my Youtube Channel, and bought hundreds of dollars worth of new products before the ADD took over and I decided it was all too hard.
So here I am, battling my demons (fear of failure and commitment-phobia, respectively), desperate to prove that I am fully capable of seeing things through, and ready to have a bit of fun along the way.
